On
behalf of ZTA, the Foundation has has donated more than $1.8 million to
Komen for the Cure since 1992. More than 5,000 Zetas volunteer in excess of 50,000 hours each year to support the more than 100 Race events nationwide. Zeta Tau Alpha facilitates its local efforts through a ZTA Race Reps at each Race. Every year, Komen with the help of Zetas, distribute dollars back into communities to help people with little or no health insurance received breast cancer education screening, treatment and treatment support. ![]()

ZTA began an association with Susan G.
Komen for the cure in 1992 when it became the first national sponsor of
the Race for the Cure's National Series Breast Cancer Survivor
Recognition Program. Since that year, ZTA has continually served as a
national sponsor of the Survivor Recognition Program. |

The San Diego Alumnae Chapter has the opportunity to reach out to the entire San Diego Community and promote Breast Cancer Awareness at an NFL San Diego Chargers game.
